Piano Delay 2020 is an annual, real time networked performance which takes place on the 88th day of the year (28th/29th of March).
It consists of musicians in multiple locations improvising over a live audio stream. Each player hears sounds from the others with a unique delay derived from the speed of their network and their position in the world. This latency is incorporated into the improvisational process.
